Too Many Lists? You bet!
By Matt at 8:59 am on Friday, December 4, 2009 // 0 CommentsDuring the past three weeks a glut of annual and decade wrap up lists have appeared on a bevy of websites. I’m opposed to these Best Of lists. Unless your a major media organization with readership clout. We (content creators) are supposed to use lists to easily convey bit sized amount of information to our readers. Lists organize our information so readers can easily recall what they learned. Not give overworked bloggers and creative types an opportunity to slack during the holiday season. At least that what it appears every year. Most of the lists appearing during the holiday season have little to no creative oomph. Simply declaring the following 10 items whether they be movies, music, video games or adult toys best of the year is going to get lost in the noise. A quick search of best movies of 2009 gave me 142,000,000 results.
We need a list of the best of lists for best movies of 2009!
Not only are these lists boring, but they come with the briefest explanations, providing no value for the reader. How do we at Pixel Dreams create better lists? By becoming inspired by Simon and Garfunkel song 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover. We turn boring stale ugly lists into Barry White songs. Pixel Dreams puts oomph in your list.
