We love being on top of the most relevant, new, exciting and enlightening information. We invest many hours a week reading blogs, news articles, and of course, watching TED.com. Below are three really cool videos released this past July that we thought you might enjoy. Cheers!

Ted Talks of July 2010 - Julian Assange

Founder Julian Assange, who’s reportedly being sought for questioning by US authorities, talks to TED’s Chris Anderson about how the site operates, what it has accomplished — and what drives him. Its amazing that art and design have gone from such extremes in my own lifetime! Growing up they said you couldn’t do anything as an artist. New media like video, the internet and even classic illustration comics are being used now to equalize, socialize, inform and engage at a level that encourages participation and discussion.

I’m proud to see Ted (and PD) covering innovations like these… hopefully in the next decade we will see more consumers of media like this become educated producers!
