Marc Emery Farewell Tour - Saturday, July 16 - 2009

Event Background

Marc Emery Farewell Tour

After five years of legal battles with the United States DEA and Government, marijuana activist Marc Emery prepared for his departure by trekking across Canada to say his final goodbyes to friends, family and supporters. The Pixel Dreams Team made it our mission to host and cover The Marc Emery Farewell Tour in Toronto. As friends and supporters of Emery, our team set out to organize an intimate and interactive event at Toronto's pot lounge, Vapor Central. Our team dedicated many hours to promotions, event planning, media coverage, public relations and event hosting that evening. The Toronto Farewell Tour was successful in driving mass media attention (Toronto Star, NOW Magazine, and more) and creating a forum for activists and supporters to discuss politics and law with Emery one last time.
